Western Springs Baptist Church meal Packaging Event

Once again the parishioners of Western Springs Baptist Church came together for a joyous event.
Over 150 volunteers came and packed 50,000 nutritious meals of Pasta in a Tomato Basil sauce.

The 50,000 meals packaged on Sunday, May 19th are being transported by Convoy of Hope (https://convoyofhope.org/) to Africa in support of residents ravaged by hunger, pestilence, and violence. This donation of nutritional sustenance will mean life and health for those at risk.

On Monday May 20th, they packed an additional 2,500 meals with inner-city students to be distributed locally.
​Everyone was present that day from the youngest to the oldest eager to make a difference in the life of someone in need.
