UL Solutions Packs 75,000 Meals
for Neighbors in Need
On December 14 and 15, 2022, UL Solutions held its 10th annual meal packaging event at its Corporate Headquarters in Northbrook, IL. Nearly 200 employees packaged 75,000 nutritious Pasta with Tomato Basil Sauce meals that were collected by Project Hope the next day. Project Hope delivered the meals to multiple food pantries through the Chicagoland area that serve food insecure families, kids, seniors, and veterans.
On Monday December 19, 2022 (only 4 days after packing) over 3,000 of these meals were distributed through Project HOPE's partner RUSH University Medical Center. In collaboration with RUSH's "Food is Medicine" program, these meals were distributed to over 200 families at HOPE Community Church on Chicago's West Side.
We are grateful to UL Solutions for its continued support and the enormous impact that it’s management and employees have made in alleviating food insecurity since 2012 - totaling over 575,000 meals - a remarkable achievement!
