Partners in Hope

Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church has partnered with Outreach, an international 501(c)(3) non-profit, recipient of Charity Navigator’s highest honor - four stars - and based in Union, Iowa.

Since its founding in 2004, Outreach has packaged and distributed nearly 230 million
meals to hungry children and their families, seniors, and veterans.

Through its innovative mobile food packaging program, Outreach, and its Chicago
affiliate, Feed6, bring together hundreds of volunteers - in church halls, school gyms, and hotel conference rooms - each prepared to donate time and money to package meals for the hungry.

These are extraordinary spirit-enriching events of giving and caring in which any one of
any age or background can participate and extend love to those in need.

Volunteers are organized into small group assembly lines, preparing delicious, nutritious meals of pasta and cheese - all fortified with soy protein, nutrients, and vitamins - and bagged, labeled, weighed, and boxed employing safety and hygienic precautions.

Meals are distributed to the hungry and food insecure locally in our community.
