Once again durring Holy Week the congregants and students of St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church will gather on Good Friday to package thousands of nutritious meals for local hungry and food insecure children and families.
From the very young to very old, regardless of size, infirmity, or condition, will gather to lend a hand to pack nutritious, flavorful meals of pasta and cheese - fortified with vitamins, nutrients, and protein - specifically designed to nurture bodies and
lift spirits.
The packaged meals will be donated to local area food pantries and distributed through the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
