On March 6, 2016 over 100 volunteers from Redeemer Lutheran Church came out to pack over 20,000 meals. These meals of Macaroni and Cheese were fortified with soy protein and assembled over a 4 hour span. While listening to music and a little dancing they worked side by side to accomplish this hefty goal.
Over 3,000 meal were donated locally to the Hinsdale Community Food Bank while the remaining meals were donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
