Students of Freedom Middle School worked hard and used creative and ingenious ways to raise money to feed those in need. Prior to hosting their first meal packaging event, the students of Freedom Middle School hosted a movie night, an open gym, two nights of Haunted Houses, out of uniform day for Halloween, a dance, and selling popcorn and drinks after school. Their fund raising efforts paid off as they raised nearly $4,000.00 to pack 16,000 meals.
The meals were packed over 2 shifts and were picked up by local food pantries. Congratulations to the students and the staff for making this a super event.
