Feed Our Community Day

The Riverside/North Riverside Covenant of Churches held this years annual "Feed Our Community Day" on October 17, 2015. The event attracted over 300 volunteers that came out that packed 65,700 meals that were distributed to local food pantries including:
Catholic Charities, A Safe Haven, St. Xavier, St. Barbs, St. Cletus, Riverside Township, Second Baptist Church Of LaGrange
Northfield Food Pantry, PAV YMCA, St. Leonard's, Feed Our Veterans, and St. Eulalias.
This year generous sponsors included Tony's Finer Foods, Costco, and Al's Pizza. Riverside Foods once again acted as a donation location and collected $650 from loyal shoppers at the cash register for the event. The Village of North Riverside graciously donated the space allowing the event to be held at the North Riverside Commons
