Martin Luther King day was a very special day at A Safe Haven. Over 240 volunteers showed up to give their support to help package nearly 30,000 nutritious meals. We extend our sincere appreciation to A Safe Haven's residents, staff, and community volunteers for joining hands on Monday January 19, 2015, to package enriched meals of pasta & cheese for hungry and homeless children, families, seniors, and veterans in our city.
The meals will be distributed through A Safe Haven's food pantry and to other A Safe Haven sites.
