Third Annual Meal Packaging Event
The Chicago High School for Agriculture Sciences once again had their "Hunger Hero's" come out to battle hunger. On November 27, 2012 over 250 High School students came together to pack nearly 29,000 nutritious meals of Macaroni and Cheese.
Over the four scheduled shifts, the students came pouring in eager to get started. Each shift tried to out due the performance of the shift that packed before them. They all worked together as a team to meet their of 28,000 meals, but their hard work perseverance paid off as they exceed their goal and packed 28,440.
